What’s US the series is about?
Dokrak helped her brother, Kawi, woo a girl named Pam, a dentistry student. Kawi first saw Pam while visiting the university to meet a friend and instantly fell in love. Pam, captivated, spent hours watching an artist paint in the university yard. Inspired, Kawi asked Dokrak—a skilled artist—to draw a postcard for Pam as a gift.
Pam adored the drawing but mistakenly believed Kawi had made it. Unbeknownst to her, Dokrak was the real artist—and worse, Dokrak secretly harbored feelings for Pam herself. She stayed silent, however, out of respect for Kawi’s emotions. Complicating matters, Dokrak already knew Pam: Pam was her dentist.

How’s US the series as a whole?
Was it good? US the series came to be unexpectedly good for me. The story develops nicely, even though the love-triangle between Dokrak, Kawi, and Pam, actually hidden a more complex and complicated story about family, betrayal, and revenge, but as a viewer, the story unfolds in a way that doesn’t overwhelmed me.
However, not everyone might enjoy this series, because it’s slow, sweet, and simple on the surface. The conflict might reminds us to the soap opera clichés and there are no real high stake to keep the viewers engaged. Some people said, they were bored by this series after a couple of episodes. I find myself not really looking forward for the series every week as well, simply because I think everything comes very easy for the main characters—like you know their relationship is going to be alright because both of the people involves are very secure.

But if you need some fresh air, US the series might be perfect for you. This series offers a gentle entertainment, something that we are already familiar with, and an ending that general audiences want to see. There are no tears, no heavy emotion, the relationship is full of sweetness and green flags. Some audiences said that this series gives them so much relief, because there is no unnecessary drama between the main couple. The conflict mainly comes from the external factors rather than internal.
From the technical point of view, there are some hiccups where some episodes feels like dragging, and some scenes feels rushed. Some people might feel bothered by it, and it may contribute to some audiences feeling bored after first few episodes. The continuity of the story is a bit weird in Episode 11 (Part 3), because we suddenly jumped to a scene that has no relation to the previous scenes at all.
All in all, the chemistry between both main characters played by Emi and Bonnie is great. You could easily forgive the flaws. If you can endure the boring pace in the beginning, you might find that US the series is actually enjoyable to watch.
